CHETRA, a division of engineering company, Traktornye Zavody, showed its latest bulldozers and front loaders at EXCON 2011, an international trade show for heavy construction equipment. CHETRA will begin assembling its tractors in India soon, the concern’s press-service reported.
Construction equipment manufacturers anticipate overall business to close out 2011 with double-digit increases over last year in the U.S., Canada, and worldwide. Growth is expected to continue but at a slower pace for 2012 through 2014, according to the annual business "outlook" survey of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).

The company would also look at raising resources through equity sale in the first quarter next fiscal to raise resources for the overall growth plans, said the company managing director, Vellayan Subbiah, speaking to the media here.
