Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has continued to lead the tractor industry in December 2011. M&M was able to sell a total of 15315 units in December 2011 as compared to 15135 vehicles during the same month last year. The manufacturer was successful in selling 16389 tractors in December 2011 (domestic and exports combined), in comparison to 16334 units in December 2010. The manufacturer sold 1074 tractors in the foreign markets in December 2011. In comparison with April-December 2010, the company sold 19 per cent more vehicles, 183274 units in 2011 against 154265 in the previous year.
