A Davie landscaper says a video shows a trio of thieves driving off with one of his trailers —loaded with $17,000 worth of equipment.

A crew from The Green Experts was working at the Tamarac Marketplace on the corner of McNab and Nob Hill roads Tuesday afternoon and left for no more than 20 minutes to pick up some shrubbery, owner Bert Bolduc said. During that time, the crooks broke the locks off the trailer hitch, connected it to an older red pickup truck, and took off.

"They must have been stalking the trailer and waiting for the right moment," Bolduc said Thursday.
