BELOIT, KS - Yhe new AG-10 Scraper from ICON Industries brings high-capacity and the company’s best industrial features to the agricultural sector.

“The AG-10 is the ideal earthmoving system for the farmer, feedlot operator or rancher whose needs exceed that of a box scraper or carryall, but are below that of an industrial scraper,” explains Gary Douglas, product support manager for ICON Industries. “With a heaped capacity of 10 yards, the AG-10 can still move a vast amount of material in a relatively short time. Plus, it has many of the same features of the bigger industrial models, like ICON’s patented Swing Wall that ensures smooth, clean and rapid ejection cycles.”

The front gate and eject wall are also finished in dirt-resisting epoxy to maintain efficiency in the stickiest of soils. Meanwhile, the double-wall frame sidewall design increases overall strength and rigidity, while protecting hydraulics.

“Like our industrial scrapers, the AG-10 features a frame engineered around 80,000- and 100,000-tensile-strength steel for maximum durability and reliability,” Douglas adds

Unlike most pull-type scrapers, though, the AG-10 utilizes a front dolly that not only improves maneuverability via 50 degrees of horizontal movement and 70 degrees of lateral movement, but also helps support the load, allowing the use of an average-sized farm tractor. Two 20,000-pound hubs on the rear and two 12,000 pound hubs on the dolly provide an estimated total loaded weight of 44,000 pounds - or 20,000 pounds of excess carrying capacity.
