Drilling and countersinking tools manufacturer Ruko offers an extensive, competent range of products now available in South Africa.

Horizontal, vertical and overhead work is made possible with Ruko’s magnetic-stand drilling machines.
The machines’ compact, light construction makes them extremely versatile and
easily portable.
They are ideal for use in steel construction, industrial building, engineering, terotechnology, ship building, bridge construction, crane building and assembly work in metalworking shops.

Ruko’s angle core drilling machines, models
RS4 and RS5e, allow for optimal use in very cramped spaces, for example, iron girders, narrow steel structures and lorry frames. The light weight of just 10 kg and ergonomically formed handles make it easier to work with and to transport.

The magnetic-stand drilling machine model RS10 allows for the use of core drills of up to
35 mm, the RS20 drills of up to 60 mm, and the RS30e drills of up to 100 mm.
The E model offers a powerful motor with full wave electronics for speed control as well as a mechanical slip clutch for overload protection of the motor and gearbox.

Distinctive features include the mounting of the handle on either side, making it suit-
able for left- or right-hand operation.
The six-point attachment of the drill onto the sled ensures a sturdy connection between the drill stand and high-performance motor. The defined feed of the cooling lubricant guarantees a clean cut and a long service life of the tools.

Core drills cut up to ten times faster than twist drills while only cutting the width of the teeth. Lower energy requirements and less wear result in a longer working life.
Ruko’s core drills offer
increased cutting performance and huge savings in both cost and time.
The range includes core drills made of heavy-duty high-speed steel suitable for cutting light metals, and tungsten carbide core drills, which are particularly
suited for heavier metals such as railway tracks, cast iron and stainless steel.
The blade geometry of the core drill permits upward chip removal while the spring-loaded pilot pin facilitates the removal of the cut-out.
