Florida landscaper sold on Bobcat compact track loaders

John Reinheimer believes in the value of compact track loaders with more than 20 years of experience in the irrigation and landscaping industry in Florida. Reinheimer previously bought only rubber tire Bobcat® skid-steer loaders until he gave the track loaders a chance. Now they’re the only machine he’ll purchase.

Landscaping in Orange Park, Fla. His company purchased 763 purchased from Bobcat of Jacksonville. He was sold on Bobcat equipment from day one and has seen how it has helped him grow his business.

“Our Bobcat loaders are very reliable,” Reinheimer says. “They last and last and they’re easy to use with superior power.”

A majority of Reinheimer’s business is commercial landscaping where his crews build landscape features, irrigation systems, complete drainage projects and install landscape lighting. They use Bobcat buckets, pallet forks, a backhoe, augers and a trencher. “We use our Bobcat loaders and attachments for everything, trees,” he says.

T190 Advantages
Reinheimer was sold on the Bobcat compact track loaders when he saw the cost savings the rubber track undercarriage provided in reduced rework costs on established surfaces. It led to the purchase of two Bobcat T190 compact track loaders.

“The compact track loaders leave little mess in the yards and on the roads, and they’re very productive in the sandy soil,” he says. “The compact track loaders provide a smooth ride. They’re just an all-around great machine.”

Loaders stay busy at in-house nursery
Rather than purchase landscaping supplies from a nursery, Reinheimer grows his own material on 10 acres. Much of it is trees that will be planted on future sites. Oak trees are the favorite, according to Reinheimer, with magnolias, hollies and crepe myrtles also being popular. If the T190s aren’t on a jobsite, they’re working at the nursery. “We use the T190s to load mulch, dig holes, move trees and compost old sod and organic debris,” he says.

Bobcat loaders enable Reinheimer’s crews to get jobs done faster with less repair work at the end. “We’ll go the extra mile for our customers because we love what we do,” he says. “Customers know that the job’s been done right when we’re finished.”
