ESCORTS Construction Equipment Limited (ECEL) recently announced the launch of its 8t DIG MAX backhoe loader specifically designed for Indian conditions, with a 76hp engine.

According to the Construction Equipment and Material Handling Equipment manufacturing arm of Escorts Limited, the launch of DIG MAX is part of a strategy to expand its product portfolio to address larger share of the Construction Equipment market by offering complete solution to road construction industry.

ECEL says it also recently introduced telescopic handlers, access platforms, wheel loaders and motor graders to the Indian market. This was achieved by signing agreements with Manitou BF, SA Corporation of France and Xiamen Machinery Company Limited (XGMA) of China.

ECEL is said to be India's leading material handling and Construction Equipment company.
