Jarshire reported strong interest in the new lightweight, lug-type carbon fibre airshaft designed by Svecom PE and recommended for unwind and rewind applications when using cores. It has a longer life when compared to steel shafts and, apart from its lighter weight - it can be carried by a single operator without assistance - it will run at a higher critical speeds enabling increased productivity.

Likewise, companies were impressed by the Jarshire Reelsaver which proves to be an investment that will pay for itself within days. Pneumatically operated, crushed or damaged reels and cores can be repaired and back in the production stream within minutes. The standard Reel-Saver has an internal bore of 70/76 mm with sleeve inserts available for other sizes.

Information was available on IPS balers that process cardboard, paper, plastic and non-ferrous metals. With eight different types it is the widest range on the market and balers are offered on a sale or lease basis. Jarshire advised on a models best suited to a particular purpose.
