Fulton Hogan opts for a Case 440 skid steer loader to handle road repair projects
CASE Construction Equipment says civil contracting company Fulton Hogan opted for a Case 440 when it needed a new skid steer loader for road repairs.
According to Fulton Hogan, it wanted to use the 440 with a road profiler as it needed to be sure the machine we chose would be up to the task. Case’s solid steel construction and powerful engine mean it can draw the strength and pushing power of a large machine in the body of a small, manoeuvrable machine.
Case says the 440 is so powerful, it’s more comparable to a small dozer than a skid steer, and most other companies don’t offer the same heavy duty reliability in a mid-size skid steer.
Fulton Hogan is said to have opted for the 440 with the high flow hydraulic kit option to make it as efficient as possible, as the kit combines the Case-standard large steel tank with an extra hydraulic pump to provide more fluid to power the profiler drum.
