ASSEMBLY Technologies has introduced the JSM, Cengar’s new ATEX approved air hacksaw, which is said to improve safety in the mining industry.
The JSM has been designed with no exposed Aluminium or Alu Alloy components for underground mining. It is ideal for cutting steel profiles, plate and pipes in position underground without generating sparks or heat which can cause safety risks.
The JSM comes complete with a pipe clamp for upto 300mm diameter pipes and most of it’s external components are made from Zinc Alloy ZA12, steel or brass. The saw is approved according to the European ATEX directive II 2G T5 I M2 and is therefore suitable for underground coal mines.
Assembly Technologies says the JSM features a low air consumption piston motor that runs at 600 strokes per minute.Cengar invented and patented the piston motor air hacksaw 50 years ago in the UK and are world leaders in the manufacturing of the rugged ATEX approved air hacksaws for professionals.
The JSM and the rest of Cengar’s range of air hacksaws are available ex stock from Assembly Technologies in Sydney, or any of their distributors around Australia.
