JCB says it has made improvements to the 3CX and 4CX models from its backhoe loader product line, upgrading speed, control and fuel-efficiency.

According to JCB, the most significant change in the models is the installation of its EASYCONTROL seat-mounted servo control system which improves backhoe speed by changing the machine’s valve block from ‘flow-sharing’ to ‘full-flow’.

The company says the new system also increases feedback by changing the hydraulic circuit in the backhoe from a closed to an open circuit, making hydraulic power available on demand.

The upgraded 3CX and 4CX backhoe loader models feature a stronger fuel tank and the removal of the Hydraulic Speed Control (HSC) switch from the operator compartment.
