Liebherr-Rental is increasing its hydrostatic bulldozer holding, following an early demand on their arrival in this growing company’s expanding hire fleet. Varied applications, from earthmoving and grading to coal and aggregate materials handling and stockpiling, have resulted in a number of new Liebherr bulldozers joining the fleet, the latest of which are all equipped with a laser system for pin-point accuracy in levelling and grading applications.
Liebherr-Rental has entered into a close partnership with Topcon for the supply, fitting and maintenance of these site-proven and successful laser guided systems.
Topcon’s 2D laser system is user friendly, user defineable and fully upgradeable to GPS. The system is flexible enough to handle the most complex of tasks in fully automatic control. Consisting of an in-cab control box with graphic LCD display and 360º receivers with two electric masts located above the cutting edge. The Topcon system provides the operator with a total capability for accurate and consistent blade setting for optimum level and grade control.
The addition of the Topcon laser system to their bulldozers reaffirms Liebherr-Rental’s promise to carry only top specification plant and equipment in their hire fleet, which already includes a huge arsenal of specialist attachments for industry-specific excavators, loaders and telehandlers plus a range of blades and buckets to suit most applications.
Liebherr-Rental Limited has a fleet of fully hydrostatic Liebherr bulldozers ranging from the 18 tonnes operating weight PR 724 right up to the 52 tonnes operating weight PR 764. All Liebherr-Rental plant and equipment is fully available throughout Great Britain from Liebherr’s strategically situated depot network - from Aberdeen to Bristol.
