Bobcat has added to its excavator range with the introduction of the 435 zero tail swing excavator.
By eliminating tail swing allows the machine to work along walls, embankments and in areas with restricted space.
Measuring just 2541mm high and 1930mm wide, the 435 is said to provide a safer working environment for operators, surrounding property and bystanders.
The machine is also equipped with what the company describes as “an industry first” all hydrostatic drive system, known as FastTrack. This drive system splits the power from left and right track resulting in more torque, precise manoeuvring and smoother acceleration. It gives the operator the option of low and high speed, 4.5km and 8.7km respectively.
With a high range travel speed of 8.7km, the 435 can move from task to task quickly increasing productivity.
Powered by a 36.5kW Kubota turbo-charged diesel engine, the 435 has an operating weight of 4787Kg, maximum digging depth 3421mm, bucket breakout force of 35105 N and produces 75L/m of auxiliary hydraulic flow.
Standard features include a swing open tailgate and side access panel for service, operator area equal in size to conventional tail swing excavators and hydraulic hoses routed within the width of the digger arm to prevent damage and snagging.
The 435 is also fitted with blade float for precise backblading.
