MONITOR Industries has released its Omme tracked drive spider-style lifts, machines designed to provide access into difficult to reach locations.

The five models available range in height from 17.5m to 30m and each machine is 1.1m wide.

The Omme Lifts also have a low weight for their size, for example the 22m machine weighs only 3 tonnes compared with a conventional boom lift of equivalent height which would weigh around 12 to 13 tonnes.

Low weight allows the Omme to travel on more difficult and fragile terrain, including soft sand or mud, lawns and tiled areas or suspended floors.

The Omme Lift has four independent hydraulic stabiliser “spider” legs, allowing the lift to be set up in difficult locations, including steep slopes on which normal lifts cannot operate. The width of each leg’s set-up can be adjusted to suit the available space.

With dual power (a Kubota diesel engine as well as battery drive), the Omme is equally suited to indoor and outdoor applications.
