ROEMHELD, represented in Australia by Romheld, has released a range of hydraulic cylinders and slides for use in tool and diemould construction.

The range includes hydraulic cylinders, threaded body cylinders, block cylinders, supporting elements and guided hydraulic slides, all of which feature quick delivery and CAD data on call to reduce both design and build times.

Minislides are available in bore sizes from 25mm to 80mm and stokes to 1200mm. Theyhave four integrated guides to compensate for side loads. This makes them suitablefor cutting and punching tools. The larger series RS slides have bore sizes to 100mm, strokes to 200mm and two guides.

Options include a selection of body materials and mounting configurations, high-temperature versions, position monitoring and anti-rotate functions to provide the most suitable unit for the job. They are rated to 500 bar operating pressure offer leak-free operation.

Applications include the operation of core pullers, bending and forming dies, assembly jigs and workholding fixtures. Roemheld also offers a full line of valves, pumps, couplings and switches to complete the hydraulic system. A product summary brochure outlining these products is available.
